1. Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Activity Report A.Y. 24-25
Alumni Committee, in collaboration with the RGCMS Alumni Association, hosted a very meaningful and impactful event for the students at Annasaheb Sahasrabuddhe Ashram Shala in Shantivan-Vakadi, Nere, Panvel. The initiative, held on November 29, 2024, as part of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan, aimed to raise awareness on critical issues like higher education, health and hygiene, as well as good and bad touch.
The event also provided a chance for the alumni from various batches, along with current students, to engage with the school children in a very interactive way. From conversing with the kids, cleaning the school and its surroundings, to sharing songs and poems, the event offered a blend of education, fun, and community service. The distribution of stationeries like notebooks and pencil packs, sponsored by the institute, was a thoughtful contribution to the students, especially to celebrate Children’s Day.
This initiative clearly demonstrates a commitment to giving back to the community, emphasizing social responsibility, and making a positive impact on the lives of students in the region.

2. Alumni Research Paper Writing competition
The R&D Committee’s event was sponsored by the RGCMS Alumni Association and focused on a research writing competition. The competition recognized the top three participants, with cash prizes, trophies, and certificates awarded to the first, second, and third-place winners.
The Research Paper Competition aimed to provide young scholars with a platform to showcase their research, comprehension skills, and analytical and critical thinking. Participants were encouraged to explore a wide range of complex and thought-provoking questions that went beyond the standard academic curriculum.
RGCMS strives to promote research, writing, and critical thinking skills through this competition, encouraging participants to develop and refine these essential academic abilities.

3. Session on Alumni Speaks :-LinkedIn Mastery “Let us link through LinkedIn”
Alumni Committee on March 8, 2025 organized a session titled “LinkedIn Mastery” to help students gain in-depth knowledge and actionable strategies for leveraging LinkedIn effectively. This session provided a perfect opportunity for students to learn, grow, and connect with both industries and the outside world.
The guest speaker for the session was Mr. Kulvinder Singh Jauda, a distinguished alumnus of RGCMS, currently working as a Manager at ReBIT (Reserve Bank Information Technology Pvt. Ltd.). Mr. Jauda’s impressive career journey spans roles such as Data Analyst at Eclerx, HR Business Partner at Accenture, and HRBP at KPMG.
With his inspiring talk, Mr. Jauda discussed how students can transform their personal brands and career strategies using LinkedIn. The session also included hands-on workshops, offering practical experience. Overall, the event provided valuable perspectives on networking and career development, making it a truly beneficial experience for the students.

4. Session on Alumni Speaks :-Unlock Your Banking Future “Conquer IBPS with Confidence”
RGCMs Alumni Committee organized an event on March 22, 2025, aimed at helping current students by providing insights on the IBPS(Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) examination pattern, effective preparation strategies, time management, stress handling techniques, interview preparation, and financial independence. Mr. Vaibhav Mishra, an alumnus and Assistant Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, shared his success story of clearing all levels of the IBPS exam in his first attempt. Known for his creativity and dynamic personality, he inspired students with his journey of dedication and success in the banking sector. Mr. Mishra also discussed how students can align themselves with the evolving demands of the banking industry, prepare for future opportunities, and navigate digital banking tools. The session equipped students with valuable knowledge about personal finance and the skills needed to seize emerging career opportunities in the banking sector.

5. Session on Alumni Speaks : Navigating the Indian Stock Market: “Key Insights and things to Avoid”
RGCMS Alumni Committee organized a session titled “Alumni Speaks: Navigating the Indian Stock Market – Key Insights and Things to Avoid,” aimed at helping participants understand the Indian stock market and make informed investment decisions. The session, attended by 52 students, was led by resource person Nachiketa Waghmare, who shared valuable insights into the complexities of the market. He emphasized the importance of conducting thorough research, staying informed, and exercising patience, as the stock market offers both opportunities and risks.
Key takeaways from the session included an in-depth look at the structure of the Indian stock market, practical advice on investing amid market volatility, guidance on avoiding risks, and an overview of various investment options such as stocks and mutual funds. The session highlighted that understanding market dynamics is crucial for making smart investment choices, and the Indian stock market presents significant opportunities for those willing to learn and adapt.
