Human Ludo

Human Ludo helps to teach strategic planning, patience, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. These skills are transferable to real life situations, helping individual navigate life challenges more effectively.The Human Ludo event was successfully held on 21st October 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Multi-Purpose Hall, RGCMS, Ghansoli. The event kicked off with an exciting inauguration at 1:45 PM by Director sir ,faculty and Judge, followed by rounds of friendly but intense competition as participants took on the role of life-sized game pieces on a giant Ludo board. We were honored to have a panel of three esteemed judges: Mr. Hemraj P, Mr. Milind D, and Ms. Sonali Gharat, an RGCMS alumni.

FIT INDIA WEEK 2024

The college organized a three-day Fit India Week from December 2 to 4,2024 as part of the nationwide initiative to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle. The event aimed to raise awareness about physical well-being among students, faculty, and staff and included a series of engaging activities designed to encourage active participation and foster a fitness culture on campus.

  • The event kicked off with an exciting inauguration at 9:30 am by Director sir and faculty.
  • The highlight of the day was started by a yoga session on 2nd December, 2024 conducted by a professional yoga instructor by Ms.Manya Chandnani. Over 200 students and faculty members participated in the session, which focused on basic asanas and breathing exercises to improve flexibility and mental relaxation. To encourage mindfulness and stress reduction among participants.
  • The Tug of War event was held at the RGCMS ground on 3rd Decemeber,2024. Promoting teamwork, strength, and coordination. Teams from various departments participated enthusiastically in this competitive event. The event was well-received, showcasing the spirit of collaboration and fitness. To enhance team spirit and physical endurance through a fun and competitive sports
  • The final event of Fit India Week was a friendly cricket match on 4th December,2024 where students and staff participated in a competitive yet enjoyable match. The event encouraged active participation and demonstrated the importance of teamwork, strategy, and fitness. To promote physical activity and foster a sense of community through sports.
  • Fit India Week at Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies was successfully celebrated, with active participation from both students and staff. The series of events helped raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. The college remains committed to promoting fitness and well-being in the academic community.

Cultural – ZEST

The primary goal of the event was to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage and diversity of our community. The event aimed to educate, entertain, and bring together people from various backgrounds through a series of cultural performances and interactive sessions. Student should be able to understand team work and leadership. Cultural fest/ Annual function “Zest” every year. Cultural Fest is designed to provide a rich learning experience to students. Also, the Cultural Fest will give an opportunity to showcase student coordinators leadership and communication skills and participant’s creative skills. The focus of Cultural Fest is providing student coordinators a hands-on experience of organizing a Fest. The activity was carried out to lead themselves and others in the achievement of organizational goals, contributing effectively to a team environment. Participants and winners were awarded certificates and Cash prizes. The event conducted were Business Quiz, Rangoli , Face painting, Mehendi , Singing , Dance ,Fashion Show, Strings and Instrumental.

Sports – ZEST

The Annual Zest Sports 2023 was conducted on December 1st, 3rd, and 4th, aiming to engage students in various indoor and outdoor sports. Students proposed sports activities, and eight sports were unanimously selected for the event. Student volunteers were nominated for each of these sports. Arm Wrestling (01-12-2023),Carrom (01-12-2023): Table Tennis (01-12-2023), Neon Cricket (01-12-2023), Badminton (03-12-2023),Chess (03-12-2023),Tug of War (03-12-2023),Box Cricket (04-12-2023). In total, there were more than 90 registrations across all sports categories. The event was also sponsored by GRAHDSIGNS.Winning participants and teams were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates. Additionally, cash prizes were distributed to the winners of each sport.
