  • The Institution has an open door policy in respect of grievance redressal. The Director is available at all times to look into any problems/issues concerning the faculty. The Institution has laid down policies for the faculty. Grievances are resolved by the Director along with the Registrar.


• Rajeev Gandhi College of Management studies provide a very cordial working environment for the office staff. All the support staff report to the Registrar who addresses their grievances.


The Institution believes in giving freedom to the students to voice their opinions. All disciplinary issues relating to the students are decided by a Disciplinary Committee consisting of student representatives and faculty members.

Mentoring

Rajeev Gandhi College of Management Studies has introduced a unique corporate mentoring program wherein 3-4 students are allotted a corporate mentor. These mentors guide the students and help them to make a smooth transition from the classroom to the corporate environment. The students also have faculty members as their internal mentors and the dual mentorship has been very successful.


Career Counseling

The Institute has a full fledged placement department with a senior faculty member with vast industry experience heading it. The Institute holds monthly placement skills lectures to help students become more confident.


 

Medical Facilities:


 

The Campus has a first aid room for students and Staff. They can access free medical assistance from medical counselor.

Student Insurance:


All the students of the Institution are covered under a group insurance scheme of National Insurance Co. Ltd. The insurance cover provides for accident.

The Institute believes in not only creating good managers but also responsible citizens of the society. In a step towards that, the students are involved in various committees like the sports committee and the academic committee. These committees are managed by the students and are responsible for organizing events, creating awareness etc.


Cultural Activities:


The Cultural Committee organizes various cultural events every year viz. Zest, Navratri Celebration, Diwali celebration etc.


Sports Activities:


The Institute offers facilities like gymnasium, chess, carom board, table tennis etc. Apart from this students are also encouraged to participate in outdoor games like football, cricket, volleyball etc. Intra-college cricket competition was also organized.


Literary Activities:


The Academic Committee takes keen interest in involving students in literary activities like participation in debates, quizzes, book review and movie reviews.


Magazine /Newsletter:


The monthly newsletter brought out by an editorial team comprising of faculty and students gives an opportunity to the students to display their writing skills, share knowledge and information and also as a means of communication. The newsletter has provided the faculty and students alike a platform to share ideas, achievements and accolades won.


Technical Activities:


Students are encouraged to conduct debates, quizzes and various management games infused with a lot of fun, creativity and learning.


Industry Visits:


Theories and conceptual frameworks are learnt within the four walls of the classrooms and applied in the industry. Students are quite often taken to various organizations/factories to understand the nuances of industrial practices.

We conduct alumni meet every year on the occasion of convocation ceremony.
